Goodbye My Lover (hehe) [ + Features ]

Journal Entry: Fri Sep 14, 2007, 4:26 AM

This is a journal update, and this is the only paragraph you need to read. I have made up my mind (cry).... I am going to purchase one (1) lens. The 24-70 seems to do everything I want to to do.. i will then cover 24-70mm and then my 100mm (macro)... If i was to purchase another lens down the track it would be the
EF 85mm f/1.2L II USM (when i have a spare $3,799 AUD) and that will get me the 24-70, 85, 100... Thank-you for all your support... all i have to do now is sell this bloody Nikon! haha. Take care everyone.

Goodbye...

It was only a year that I welcomed into my heart, my Canon EOS 350D. Not a day has gone by that I have not either seen her or spent part of the day with her in my arms. It didn't take long however, as it was like fate, but I knew which buttons to press.

Today was a sad day for me. Today I had to give her away. I know she is going to a good home. I just hope they appreciate her like she deserves, and does not live out her days in a camera bag, nesting fleas or mites.

On the brighter side, this is all for my quest for a new missus. The almighty, busty, however still beautiful, Canon EOS 5D! I can't wait for this bad girl to come into my life! All I have to do is get rid of my Nikon D80. If anyone is still in market, or thought I may have sold it, I have not.

Enjoy life, Keep smiling!

I'm Selling a Nikon D80

Journal Entry: Mon Aug 20, 2007, 5:07 AM

I just recieved my 200th watch. Thank-you to all however, because if one of you did not watch me, I would not have yet reached this milestone. I really appreciate all your comments, favourites and mostly your continued support. Phill.

Do you want to buy...

... a Nikon D80 w/ 18-55mm? I received one as a gift, and I'm a Canon boy. I don't really even want to touch it. It is still in its original box, with all the software, cables, batteries, chargers etc. and I want to sell it to a good home. If you are interested, let me know. And NO it's not stolen, or a hot item. I received it from Nikon Australia as a gift for my outstanding sales where I work. I'm still saving for my Canon 5D so this will really help to put a lens on the list.

Journal

Firstly, I'm happy to report that I am bringing back the CSS journal! I want to apologise to you all who have followed my journey here on deviantART, I have not been to generous of time to those who have been to me - I have just been so busy with work and with university, that I have not had the minutes in the day and actually thank every favourite and every watch. I understand more than most that you do not have to pay attention to my works, but please not that it is so greatly appreciated.

As some of you may have known, I thought I had better make myself a website. Now it was a very hard decision when designing the backend to this website. I use it for more than one purpose, you see. As some of you may know, I do operate my gallery through http://gallery.philliplapeyre.com/. The reason, my main website, http://philliplapeyre.com/ operates as an extra-curricular student Public Relations Blog. To some that may make no sense and all, but to some, you must understand that photography is in my heart and soul and is something I am very passionate about, but Public Relations is the primary role in my life at the moment. Anyway, go to my website (gallery) and tell me what you think. It is obviously still developing its colour, and I have many more photos to upload. Leave a comment, say hello, but some prints if you really want - I won’t say no! HaHa.

Anyhows, that is enough typing... Check out the features below.

Enjoy life, Keep smiling!
